We are pleased to announce that the symposium for the establishment of UTokyo LCA Center for Future Strategy (UTLCA) will be held on Friday, July 28. This research organization aims to create academic principles of “Pre-emptive LCA” that will contribute to the planning of future strategies in order to get a head start in technological development and the formation of social institutions for the realization of a sustainable society. In this symposium, we will discuss the challenges and prospects of “Pre-emptive LCA” through lectures by leading researchers and panel discussions by researchers participating in this research institute.
