On February 20, Pre-emptive LCA Social Cooperation Research Department Seminar was held at Hybrid. The lecture, titled “Japan’s Carbon Neutral Scenario Utilizing CO2-Free Fuels and Raw Materials,” was presented by Director Masakazu Sugiyama (Professor, Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology). Drawing on the “Net Zero Japan and Beyond” report, the presentation offered candid explanations about the energy and socio-economic transitions toward 2050. This prompted frank questions and generated anticipation for future research possibilities extending beyond the Pre-emptive LCA Social Cooperation Research Department.
